Each attendee will have either a shared bed or a bunk bed in the Barndominuim! If         you are traveling and attending with the friend you are welcome to request your             roommate, otherwise you will be assigned to a bed/room.

kind words from previous event attendees...

I had the pleasure of attending a workshop that Laylee put together, and it really propelled my business forward. She is so sweet and full of energy that you just could not help but feed off her positivity. I thought I had a good handle on my business going into the workshop, but I left feeling enlightened and with a new group of friends who share similar passions. Her workshop was truly one of the highlights of my 2017, and I would not hesitate to participate in any of her future offerings!

To know Laylee is to have an instant friend! Not just a sweet new friend, but the realist, most genuine and relatable soul sister that feels like you’ve known her for years! After experiencing her last Workshop I left with more than just beautiful portfolio pictures. Laylee instilled confidence, dropped practical + applicable education, and left me feeling inspired. I couldn’t be more grateful for her encouragement, friendship and keep it real-ness!

At the last conference I attended, I sat in my hotel room with my three other roommates and in the midst of our deep conversations I realized that this was hands down my favorite part of every workshop, conference, convention, etc that I’ve attended. The late night talks, the intimate small group conversations where we all help each other navigate our pain points, celebrate each other’s wins, and get personal without our walls up. We have hard conversations, we laugh, we cry, we grow- together. It’s with this in mind that I created the Next Level retreat. 12 people, one house, late nights, and lots of growth. Where we will push each other to the next level in our businesses, stop talking about “finding balance” and actually take the time to do things that are good for us (yoga classes, meals away from a computer screen), and where we will find inspiration and refresh our minds. Where we will arrive alone, and we will walk away a community.

She has a heart for both creating thoughtful, keepsake-worthy custom paintings that her clients will cherish for years to come, and for teaching budding watercolor artists to build creative confidence and excitedly grow their own flourishing artistic businesses. When she's not painting, you can find Jessica sipping a frozen margarita with her hubby Zack and their adorable puppy Oscar at their favorite local dog park in Dallas, Texas.

Hello, sweet friends! I'm Sarah: a designer and calligrapher in a long-term love affair with letterform. I craft heirloom wedding invitations for couples, and thoughtful brand designs for creatives. There's nothing I love more than a gorgeous ink flourish, but antique churches and my ever-growing collection of plant babies certainly come close! I can't wait to connect with you in person and share in a dose of creativity and community together.
